We are back online. However, sadly I was not able to make a permanent fix to the dice issue and have it work on all users. To keep things simple as GM I'll be throwing in the dice coding on my replies. Additionally to allow the game to move as swiftly and concise as possible when making an action PLEASE state all skills and abilities that you have that you believe will ad you in the roll as well as if you are putting in Extra Effort. As GM I will then determine if these abilities and bonuses apply generate the dice outcome and narrate as usual.

This is a 24 Hour Hole-in-the-Wall Diner at the edge of the Downtown Area. Not many locations downtown are actually 24-hours, typically closing around 2-3 AM, this makes for the 3rd Street Diner to become THE place to meet people and share information between the hours of 3 and 6 AM.
The diner is run by a surly old woman only known as Maud who serves coffee and seems to be there every moment the diner is operating.

Dr. Miers enters the diner. Shifting the several books and folders under his arm, he reaches down and tucks a few papers back into his bag that had been poking out. Taking a seat in a booth, he orders a coffee, slowly sipping it as he waits for his meeting.

Janus arrives at the diner and spots the doctor sipping at his coffee, and waves off the waitress asking him if he'd like a table or booth and seats himself across from him.

"Greetings, doc. I'm interested to know what we can do to help each other."

Dr Miers smiles a bit as he put down his cup.

"Perhaps we should start with you filling me in on the details of your investigation? I may be able to help you suss out some of the details on the magical end of things."

Janus grabs the empty mug in front of him and fills it from the coffee carafe on the table, adding two creamers and way too much sugar before stirring it and taking a sip.

"You've seen the picture of the candles I found. When I was inside the sewer looking for Barry Harrison, the man who apparently has gone missing around that area, I encountered a cultist who knocked me out temporarily... and when I gave chase I found two skeletons guarding a passageway. I almost died down there, so I ran away and sought help."

Dr. Miers nods "Most likely a demon summoning circle. Did you encounter any other people? Bodies? The skeletons sound like they're likely the result of some necromancy, something I happen to know a bit about. You weren't badly hurt I assume? I am a physician after all."

After taking another sip of coffee, Dr. Miers pulls out a small notebook, jotting a few things down.
"How would you like to proceed in this situation?"

"My general modus operandi is to go in head first and just beat things up. I got hurt pretty badly, but nothing a little rest couldn't fix. I want to go back down there and find out what happened to the missing person. If we both are there, I'm confident we can handle it."

Janus takes another swig from his coffee and places it down on the table, feeling wary of any listening ears or prying eyes.

"Well, no time like the present I suppose. The longer we wait the less of a chance of finding him. I can stop home and drop my things off and then meet you?"

"That sounds like a plan to me. I'll meet you at the riverfront in a little while."

Janus downs the rest of his coffee and leaves a few coins on the table before walking out of the diner, mentally preparing to go back into the sewers.

Dr. Miers gathers his things and does the same.
(Which thread should we pick this up on?)
